Madonna postpones her "Celebration" tour due to a "serious bacterial infection" that led to a multi-day stay in the intensive care unit in New York.

Her manager, Guy Oseary, posted a message on Instagram stating that the singer is expected to make a full recovery. “On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a severe bacterial infection, which led to a multi-day stay in ICU. His health is improving, however he is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected,” he wrote. "At this time we will have to pause all commitments, which includes the tour." The "Celebration" tour, which was expected to span every segment of Madonna's more than 40-year career, was scheduled to kick off in Vancouver on July 15. Oseary's message adds new start date and rescheduled shows to be announced soon
